This contract is intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in guest rooms “Authentique PORNIC”.
The owner undertakes to personally ensure the best welcome to guests with all the desirable attentions to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.
Article 1 – Duration of the stay
The client signing the contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.
Article 2 – Conclusion of the contract
The reservation becomes effective as soon as the client has sent the owner a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount for a stay of 4 nights or more, or the full payment of 100% of the rental amount for a shorter stay.
Payment of the deposit implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
The reservation concluded between the parties may not under any circumstances benefit, even partially, third parties, individuals or legal entities.
A minimum number of nights is required depending on the season and public holidays.
Article 3 – No withdrawal period
For reservations made by mail, telephone or online, the customer does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.
Article 4 – Change of Rooms
Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer for a room of the same or higher capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.
Article 5 – Cancellation by the tenant
Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter to the owner.
Cancellations:
- Up to 30 days before the date of the stay: no cancellation fees
- 30 days to 16 days before the date of the stay: 50% of the total amount of the stay
- 15 days or less before the date of the stay: 100% of the total amount of the stay
- no show: 100% of the total amount of the stay
- shortened stay: 100% of the total amount of the stay
Article 6 – Cancellation by the owner
The owner will refund to the tenant the full amount paid, as well as compensation equal to that which the tenant would have paid if the cancellation had occurred on that date.
Article 7 – Price and Payment
The price of the room is unique for 1 or 2 people.
It includes breakfast for 1 or 2 people.
Accepted payment methods: Bank cards (Visa/Mastercard) via the site, check, transfer, cash.
The balance of the stay is to be paid on arrival.
The tourist tax is a local tax of €0.88 per person and must be paid in addition with the payment of the room.
Article 8 – Security deposit
On arrival of the client, a security deposit of €300 is requested by the owner.
This deposit is returned, less the cost of restoring the premises if damage, loss or theft is noted.
In the event of early departure, the security deposit is returned by the owner within a period not exceeding one week.
Article 9 – Insurance
The client is responsible for all damage caused by him. He must therefore check whether his main residence contract provides for the holiday extension (holiday rental). The tenant certifies that he is covered by civil liability insurance covering his own liability and that of the persons accompanying him
Article 10 – Capacity
The maximum capacity of each room is strictly limited to 2 people.
Article 11 – Schedules
- Breakfast between 08:30 and 09:30
- Reception between 17:30 and 19:00
- Departure before 10:30
The client must arrive on the day specified and at the times mentioned in this contract. In the event of a late or delayed arrival, the client must notify the owner.
Authentic PORNIC:
- Is a completely non-smoking house
- Does not accept outside visitors
- Does not accept food consumption inside the rooms
- Does not accept animals
- More generally, the customer must ensure the peaceful nature of his presence and respect the tranquility of the place and the comfort of all guests.
- Any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will lead the owner to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation, without any reimbursement, and after payment of expenses not yet paid.
Article 12 – Responsibilities
The photographs presented on our site are not contractual; variations may occur between the time of booking and the day of presence on site.
The owner cannot be held responsible for the non-execution or poor execution of the reservation in the event of force majeure, due to a third party, due to the customer, in particular the unavailability of the internet network, inability to access the website, external intrusion or computer viruses.
Any reservation or payment that is irregular, inoperative, incomplete or fraudulent for a reason attributable to the customer will result in the cancellation of the order at the customer’s expense, without prejudice to any civil or criminal action against the latter.
Article 13 – Disputes
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
Only the Court of the jurisdiction of the location of the Guest House subject to rental is competent.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be modified at any time without notice.
